Obituary for Dewey L. Landrum

Dewey L.  Landrum
Dewey L. Landrum, 57, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday August 25, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born August 25, 1955 in Covington, KY to the late Dewey and Billie Landrum, he lived a number of years in Marietta before moving to Dawson County and then to Lumpkin County 13 years ago. Mr. Landrum earned a Master’s Degree in Business Science and was employed as a software consultant with I.B.M. For over 40 years he was a member of Capital City Lodge #642 F & AM and was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, Dahlonega Ward. Dewey was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Landrum.
Surviving are his daughters and son in law, Rebecca Landrum and David Clark, Dahlonega, Kristina Landrum, Walland, TN; grandchildren, Justin Light, Cynthia Sarson, Joseph Sarson, Miles Clark, Morgan Clark, Andrew Sarson; brother, George Cartier, Gainesville; and aunt, Aline Tatum, Dawsonville.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 31, 2012 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop Robert Weischedel will officiate. Interment will follow in the McKees Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the McKees Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Gail Walker, 354 Davenport Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
